The perfect preparation for the C1 Advanced examination - formerly known as Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE). Passing the Cambridge C1 Advanced means that you would able to follow a degree course at university or communicate with accuracy in a professional situation.
This course focuses on the language skills required for each section of the exam, as well as specific skills for achieving your full potential on the day of the exam.
Morning programme: this is an advanced language course with classes covering grammar and vocabulary, reading and listening comprehension, varieties of written English and speaking practice, all of which are essential for success in this examination.
Afternoon programme: the emphasis will be on the exam preparation with special classes focusing the techniques, strategies and language necessary in all parts of the exam.
Your classroom studies will be supported by carefully-guided homework and self-study throughout the course. Regular one-to-one tutorials are held to enable you to discuss your progress with your tutor. There will also be full mock tests so that you can see your progress, identify areas that need improvement and grow used to the pressure of the exam.
You will improve your accuracy and fluency in English for the C1 Advanced exam, as well as become familiar with the different techniques and strategies necessary for the different papers.

*Please note that the following dates are bank holidays in the UK, and no lessons take place on those days. On each of these days, we will offer students a free excursion/activity.
In December, as the exam is on Saturday, an additional night's homestay accommodation until Sunday is included for the final weekend (if required).

Tuition fees:
1 week: £355
2 to 4 weeks: £340 per week
5 to 12 weeks: £325 per week
Homestay Accommodation (if required): £200 per week (+£30 for any special diet requirements)
Examination fees (if required): £255 in 2025
Coursebook: included for students booked for 3 weeks+ (a loan coursebook is given to students booked for 1 or 2 weeks, with an option to buy at cost price or return unmarked at the end of the course.
